I’ve had many moments like this. But all I tend to worry about are if my kiddos are fed, if they are happy, enjoying this life and all. Love it. You’re a great mom girl, keep it up!

  6. What an amazing friend you are to share your friends sites. “IF YOU CAN’T SAY ANYTHING NICE- DON’T SAY NOTHIN’ AT ALL.” I say this all the time!

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Right! Whether they mean to do it harmlessly or not. This is something we are proud of! Its definitely a hit to the ego! LOL.

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

We moved in together 4.5 years ago and have never gotten rid of the second household worth of stuff! Lol. We have a 3 car garage and only one stall has a car in it. 😩

they are the ones who taught us to love!

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Yes they did! Thank you so much!

  13. So true! I have had a lot of my clients with tarot give or receive news of some type of loss. Everyone handles it differently and you’re right, we can never be prepared. Thanks Ashley!

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

It sucks! What do you say to your clients? Or do you just let them talk?

  14. pooped5 says:

My husband just approached me about the possibility of moving to a new city this past week! Interesting that this is a post on my reader soon after…maybe it’s a sign! lol

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Hahaha something told me that someone out there needed to read this! Hope it helped some…

For real though- Amazon everything 😉

  17. Michelle says:

Minnesota girl here too! Funny we’ve talked about moving TO Colorado. These Minnesota winters are killer even though I have lived here all my life. My sister in law is in CO and loves it. I want to follow haha.

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Colorado is beautiful! If you’re looking for serene stay away from Colorado Springs and the Denver and surrounding areas.. I know plenty of wonderful places to live and enjoy it. But I don’t think I’d ever move back. It’s getting way too crowded there. Where in Minnesota do you live?? Or nearby? I don’t want you to throw your info out there if you don’t want to. Lol. I live about an hour north of the cities.

      1. Michelle says:

Near the cities but about 25 minutes from Hudson, WI near the border of MN and WI. Yes, I think CO is crowded probably too. And the cost of living is more than MN. Overall I like it here but dislike the long winters. Sounds like you are having quite the adventure!

      2. Ashley ♥ says:

That’s close to my sisters and brother in laws! Starts with a W and is 8 letters long. Yeah the winters are brutal…. but we have a fish house that we use and we make due pretty well around here even in the outdoors in the winter. Glad to meet another Minnesotan on here!

      3. Michelle says:

        Yep! That’s where we are!

      4. Ashley ♥ says:

My husband grew up there his whole life.

      5. Michelle says:

Crazy!! I like it here but it’s getting too busy now. They put in so many shops, the traffic is getting to be like a big city.

      6. Ashley ♥ says:

That’s exactly what he says. Whenever we are down there he points out what used to be dirt roads or two lane roads. Which developments used to be fields.

  18. Evie Scott says:

    Very beautiful x followed too

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

      Thank you! Followed back ♥️

Congratulations! It’s the small things that we get to celebrate now! Like enjoying a FRESH warm cup of coffee. Lol.

  22. Evie Scott says:

This made me smile a lot 🙂

  23. Krystle says:

The life of a Mumma Bear, huh?! I loved the cootie-clad clothing remark!!

  24. Krystle says:

    So beautiful!

  25. Sarah says:

Hehe I totally relate to being petrified of telling my parents even though I was married and completely on my own when I started getting them

  26. Lol love it!

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

      Thanks super friend <3

  27. Rebecca Lake says:

Ha! I haven’t had toddlers in quite a while but this brings back memories!

  28. Always fascinating to read about the experiences of others growing up. We moved a lot as well when I was younger and spent a couple of years in Australia just because my parents wanted to! I appreciated all the opportunities we got to travel, even though it was hard saying good bye to new friends. I am never sure how my military friends cope with all the change, but I guess it’s just part and parcel of their careers!

  29. Lovely words, made me tear up.

  30. Okay, so that song is SUPER addictive hahaha

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Yeah! Tell me about it. Its the only song Sawyer actually sings LOL. Her version is “ahhh, do doo do do do doo, ahhhh, do doo do do do doo”

  31. pooped5 says:

    Beautiful post!

  32. Quwrites says:

I wish it becomes easier for you. There are times when I also don’t know whether I should keep going on or just give it. It’s just drives me crazy because there is no right answer to it. I guess that’s the game-what we choose, we should stick with it and make it right

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Thank you so much! You’re right. It’s either do it, or don’t. Thinking about it is too heavy a burden to carry around.

  33. Seri says:

Thank you for this post. It really helps a lot of moms out there. <3

  34. Jane T says:

These are so true and straight to the heart. I was a mom at 32 and I still didn’t know what I was doing! We all never do. But then, you are the center of their world, and it’s the most touching revelation! Good job, mama!

  35. Vox says:

We all have moments of indecision. The main thing is to think on it, listen to that quiet voice inside and then move on. It sounds like this is your process, so you are well on your way to a life where your desires and your decisions are truly aligned. 👍🏽

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

Yes! It is my process to an extent. Except more often than not the voice that I end up listening to is the Negative Nancy telling me not to. Therefore a decision is MADE, just not the one I originally wanted to go with. Thank you!

  36. mummyest2014 says:

I come from an RAF family. My Dad leaving for tours was never easy but I was/am so proud of him. I now you kids will be incredibly proud of you too x

  37. Jess says:

Girl I feel this post on such a personal level! I have been exactly where you are now – to be honest I think we all have! To struggle is to be human and there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. Just remember to put some time aside for you every. single. day. I know it’s not always easy but sometimes all it takes is 2-3 minutes in the morning of meditation and reflection to quiet your mind! Thanks so much for having the courage to share this, I know things will get better for you soon! Sending so much love and strength your way.
    xx J

    1. Ashley ♥ says:

I need to learn to get up early enough to spare a couple minutes to meditate. I’m such a procrastinator it’s insane! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and for your heartfelt feedback. I love your blog as well!

  38. Kirsy Rivera says:

I’m in that same position as you are and I can totally understand you.
Hopefully things will get better ♥️

  39. ltmcgrath says:

    lovely motivational post!!

  40. I really loved this! Such great wisdom! (I have experienced all of this, including leaving a job that no longer fulfilled me to pursue my true talents.) I love how you embrace your 30s! I am 44 now and I think my 30s were wonderful. I am thoroughly enjoying my 40s too. I feel more confident, fulfilled, ambitious, and caring. I could not say that at 21.

God Bless you and thank you for such a great blog!

  41. Jennifer Matts says:

It’s too early for these feelings 😭😭 I can relate so much. But you are amazing super friend and I love you!!

  42. MD NAFIZ says:

  43. You are amazingly strong for sharing your experience and explaining the feelings you’ve had as a result!

  44. Candace Rain says:

I agree. I miss the me that wasn’t hurt by an asshole and other assholes. I miss the me that absolutely loved rain and loved to take pictures of clouds. That was still a virgin at 32 and wanted to wait til married to become otherwise. I miss the me before 2012.

  45. Blaine Hall says:

Nice! I just got a Total Wireless card code for FREE! 😀

  46. Keep repeating it. This is just a phase.

  47. Beautiful. Great reminder to cherish these moments. They won’t be little forever.
